Work through the task
- Use the actual construction, gussets, overlaps and blank convention required by the tool. Nominal face dimensions omit material.
- Account for each ply or use measured complete-unit weight. Handles, valves and liners are separate unless included.
- Compare finished bags or sacks at matching construction and accessory scope, with printing and freight explicitly entered.

An illustrative blank allocation of 0.20 m² at 80 GSM contains 16 g paper per ply. Two identical plies contain 32 g, or 320 kg for 10,000 allocations, before handles, liner and production losses.
Use your supplier specification and quotation. These numbers demonstrate the arithmetic; they are not market prices or a packaging suitability assessment.
Checks before you decide
- Construction and actual blank area
- Number of plies and accessories
- Complete bag versus paper-only quotation
